About Where I Live
I live in Mount Maunganui In Tauranga, New Zealand, Which is in the North Island. In New Zealand we have 3 islands, The North Island, The South Island and Stewart Island. The North and South Island are the two main islands of New Zealand. We have had small incidents here in Tauranga like there was a oil ship called Rena and it crashed into a Astrolabe affecting The Bay Of Plenty(Where Tauranga is). Oil containers broke off into the ocean and had to be pulled out, some leaked oil and so we had to close the beach for a MASSIVE oil clean up. People everywhere volunteered to help clean the beach. Soon enough the beach was clean and open to swim in.
